Located near the center of Lentini, this magnificent eight-bedroom villa is the perfect place for a relaxing break on one of the most celebrated stretches of coastline in the Mediterranean. The villa is a few kilometers from Catania, destroyed by the Etna eruption in 1693. The 18th-century rebuilding created imposing Baroque edifices, set on broad, straight streets and unevenly shaped squares, a precaution against earthquakes. Via Etna slices through Catania, with Etna rising at one end. At the other end is Piazza Duomo, a large pedestrianized space with a lava monument of an elephant, Catania’s emblem, in its center.

Property 427 is also a few kilometers from Syracuse, which encapsulates Sicily’s timeless beauty more than any other city: ancient Greek ruins rise out of lush citrus orchards, café tables spill onto dazzling Baroque piazzas, and honey-hued medieval side streets lead down to the sparkling blue sea. The villa is also a few kilometers from Taormina, well-known for its antiques and handicrafts, but there are also chic boutiques galore as well as delicatessens crammed with delicious local produce. Here, retail therapy can be combined with some of the most splendid vistas in the world.

Taormina is undoubtedly a jewel of the Ionian coast, and its many facets dazzle visitors like the sunlight on its clear blue waters. The easiest way to reach Taormina’s beach is by cable car, but you can also walk down the long flight of steps from the center. Take the cable car down to the sea for magnificent walks along the coast, to the cove dominated by the tiny Isola Bella, today a World-Wide Fund for Nature Reserve, or to Spisone, with its lovely sandy beach.

Property 427 is a luxury property on a family-run citrus plantation. The estate has been transformed into an 8-bedroom home-away-from-home set within 300 acres of fragrant orange groves. The villa can accommodate up to sixteen guests featuring 8 bedrooms (3 double bedrooms and 5 twin rooms) spread over two floors.

Surrounded by a lush garden, this magnificent villa boasts an exceptional infinity pool and a spacious poolside area furnished with comfortable sun loungers and deckchairs inviting guests to sit back and unwind. Outdoors you will find an exclusive al fresco dining area for up to 30 people, complete with wood oven, and a lounge area with comfortable chairs and benches. The outdoor area also boasts an exclusive tennis court. Take a short walk through the garden and you arrive at the Orangerie, which houses the cozy greenhouse drawing-room and dining area. It boasts a beautiful lava stone fireplace that provides warmth and atmosphere in the long autumn evenings.

The spacious and comfortable Orangerie’s seating area is a perfect place for conversation, reading or simply enjoying the scenery visible through the windows. Adjacent is the dining area where guests can enjoy intimate meals and a newly-added home cinema. Charmingly detailed with antiques, walls hung with family-portraits, a beautiful collection of old parrot-prints and Sicilian porcelain, meals are always a memorable occasion in the Orangerie. On the upper floor of the villa is the Belvedere, a multifunctional space with breathtaking views of Mount Etna and surrounding valleys spanning all the way to the Nebrodi Mountains.Situated in the midst of nature, Property 427’s library is a haven for those seeking peace and quiet, and is perfect for meetings, meditation, yoga workshops, team building or painting. Eight exclusive guest rooms are situated in the Manor House. Four are on the upper garden level and the others at ground garden level.

On the lower garden level of the villa, you will find a double bedroom and a twin room (one with en-suite bathroom with shower and one with en-suite bathroom with tub, and private entrance from the courtyard. On the same level you will also find two twin rooms (one with en-suite bathroom with shower and one with en-suite bathroom with tub) and private entrance from the courtyard. These rooms can be transformed in double bedrooms on request.

The Old Boathouse, which is available on request, has been fully refurbished and features two additional double bedrooms, a convertible living room, three bathrooms and a large covered terrace. The Boathouse is suitable for 4/6 additional guests and some beds for children.
