Description

Property 1651263783 - Rome

4 Suites - Small Indoor Pool - Wellness Area - Gym

Location and Surrounding Area. Located in the heart of Rome and steps from the city’s most exclusive dining, shopping and entertainment options, this elegant Palazzo is the perfect place for a stylish break in one of the most romantic cities in the world. With a peaceful yet central location, many of Rome’s most famous attractions are within easy walking distance, with the rest just a short taxi ride away. It would take weeks to see all that the city has to offer, but a few days is enough to explore Rome’s most beautiful sites.

Among the ancient alleys of the most authentic Rome, this elegant Palazzo is set like a diamond between the Lungotevere and some of the most beautiful squares in the centre. The Palazzo is just a stone’s throw from Piazza Navona, a magnificent square with a fountain by Bernini and a popular gathering point for Romans with its bustling terraced cafés and seasonal fairgrounds. The apartment is also a few steps from the Pantheon, the city’s best preserved ancient temple and a must for any first visit to Rome.

The Trevi Fountain, the world’s most famous fountain, is just around the corner. The fountain is a Baroque explosion of tritons, winged horses and drinking snakes, and its water glitters with thousands of coins that tourists have tossed in. The apartment is also a few kilometres from the Sistine Chapel and the Roman sculpture-and-sarcophagi-stuffed Vatican Museums. Your journey is not complete without a visit to St. Peter's Square and St. Peter's Basilica, one of the largest churches ever built.

The Colosseum, the biggest amphitheatre ever built and the most eloquent symbol of Imperial Rome, is a walk away. Half circus, half sports arena, Rome’s most famous classical ruin is unmissable, especially now that they have extended the visitor route to the underfloor passageways through which gladiators and wild beasts made their entrances. The apartment is a few kilometres from the Palatine Hill and the Roman Forum, the ancient centre of the civil and religious life of the city.

Property 1651263783 is 20 km from Rome-Ciampino International Airport “G. B. Pastine” and 31 km from Rome-Fiumicino International Airport “Leonardo da Vinci”. Piazza Navona is just 1 km from the property, the St. Peter’s Basilica and the St. Peter’s Square are 2 km, the Pantheon is 3 km, the Trevi Fountain is 3 km, the Sistine Chapel is 3 km, the Vatican Museums are 3 km, the Galleria Borghese is 3 km, the Roman Forum is 4 km, the Colosseum is 5 km, the Palatine Hill is 5 km, and Trastevere is 5 km.

The Property. Embracing the real life of a noble palace, Property 1651263783 offers its guests the chance to magically step into an incredible world of wonders, stepping back in time to live like the princes and princesses of the Borghese family, one of the most important families in the Roman aristocracy. Secreted away in the heart of the Eternal City and just a stroll away from the Spanish steps, Property 1651263783 offers its guests the chance to live like Roman nobility in four opulently decorated bedrooms with en-suite bathroom spread over three floors.

Occupying one wing of Property 1651263783, which was built between 1600 and 1800 for the noble Borghese family, Property 1651263783 boasts four elegant rooms complete with en-suite bathroom spread over three floors. The rooms of the Palazzo can sleep up to twelve guests: four guests in the Borghese Suite, three guests in the Junior Suite, two guests in the Deluxe Room, and three guests in the Superior Room, which would be ideal for a nanny or other staff.

Located on the first floor, the sumptuous 113-sqm Borghese Suite overlooks the private secluded Cembalo Gardens of the historical Property 1651263783. This Suite features a spectacular en-suite bathroom with a free-standing glass bathtub. Offering an elegant atmosphere, the Borghese Suite features a double bedroom for two guests. However, the Suite can also sleep two additional guests in two single beds that can be added on request.

On the ground floor, the 60-sqm Junior Suite overlooks the Cembalo Gardens and boasts an exceptional en-suite bathroom with large shower. This Suite features a double bedroom for two guests. However, the Suite can sleep one extra guest in a single bed that can be added on request. On the ground floor you will also find a 42-sqm Deluxe Room which includes a double bedroom inside a former chapel with an ornate domed ceiling and en-suite bathroom with shower.

On the lower ground floor of the Palazzo, you will find a 30-sqm Superior Room, which is a twin room with en-suite bathroom with shower, ideal for a nanny or other staff. However, the Superior Room can sleep one extra guest in a single bed that can be added on request. Air conditioning is available throughout the Palazzo, in all bedrooms and communal areas. Inside the Palazzo, a magnificent staircase ascends to a lounge replete with resplendent frescoes.

Sunlight floods in through the windows and a hallway leads to the rest of this magnificent Palazzo. The original 17th-century frescoes were restored, gilded mouldings and antique mirrors were polished, and contemporary furniture was brought in to give the Palazzo a more residential vibe. With designer interiors, a beautifully decorated sitting room opens onto an opulent dining room featuring gilded ceiling decorations and antique mirrors. The Palazzo also features a lift.

The floors are made with several types of marble in inlaid mosaics, while a second sitting room is decorated with plush furnishings, works of art, and books.  On the lower ground floor, you will find a gym, a spa with a plunge pool, Turkish bath, and a disco with bar, which can also be set as a screening room. But perhaps the most magical thing about Property 1651263783 is that it grants you exclusive access to the courtyard garden. It is so peaceful and magical that you could almost forget you are in the middle of the Eternal City.
