Set in the beating heart of Rome, just a stone’s throw from Piazza Navona and the magnificent Pantheon, Palazzo Romano Apartments has its roots in an era from times gone by. Piazza Navona is a magnificent square with a fountain by Bernini and a popular gathering point for Romans with its bustling terraced cafés and seasonal fairgrounds. The apartment is also a few steps from the Pantheon, the city’s best preserved ancient temple and a must for any first visit to Rome.

The Trevi Fountain, the world’s most famous fountain, is just around the corner. With ancient stones and archaeological fragments, this exclusive building offers an exquisite blend of period charm and modern comfort. Palazzo Romano Apartments can accommodate 26 guests featuring eight plus four apartemnts (twelve apartments; thirteen bedrooms) spread over multiple floors.

Located between Piazza Navona and the Pantheon, right in the heart of Rome, Palazzo Romano Apartments boasts ancient roots. Large archaeological finds decorate the apartments: they come from the family's private collection, started with passion at the end of the 19th century. With ancient wooden doors and inlays, the indoor space is enriched by the precious ancient stones donated by the designer. Each stone bears witness to the glorious eras of the Italian history, from the imperial age to the medieval era, up to the Renaissance.

This masterfully-renovated 15th-century building boasts twelve apartments offering the ultimate blend of style and comfort. Alongside exquisitely modern design pieces, the family’s style serves as a counterpoint with original elements like the antique wooden doors, the majestic columns, and a rich array of stones that are a common thread throughout the apartments. In addition to the stones already collected, various new ones have been added from prestigious Italian antiques dealers.

The timeless charm of Palazzo Romano Apartments comes through in each of its twelve prestigious apartments. Each apartment is different from the other in order to meet the guests’ needs: one Comfort Apartment, two Superior Apartments, four Prestige Apartments, and five Studio Apartments. The Palazzo has twelve individual apartments, however, four of these are made up of two connecting apartments. These connecting apartments are part of the Penthouse category. Each apartment can accommodate two guests and features its own private bathroom. One apartment, located on the third floor, sleeps up to four guests. Please note that washing machine and dryer are available in the building, not in the apartments.

Ground Floor:

On the ground floor you will find one Studio Apartment. This apartment boasts a spacious double bedroom (which can be transformed into a twin room) and a marble bathroom with shower. Soft fabrics and elegant geometries give shape to a refined environment, in which wood, stone and marble coexist with a vibrant color palette. In the bedroom you will also find an exclusive free-standing bathtub. The apartment also has a cozy kitchen, a living corner complete with sofa, and a patio with table.

First Floor:

The first floor boasts: two Studio Apartments, one Superior Apartment, two Prestige Apartments. The first Studio Apartment features a double bedroom on a mezzanine level, a bathroom with shower on the lower level, living room, and kitchen with small table. The second Studio Apartment features a double bedroom with bathroom on a mezzanine level (please note that this bathroom has neither shower nor tub). On the lower level you will find a bathroom with shower, a living room, kitchen with dining area, and terrace.

The only Superior Apartment on this floor boasts a double bedroom, en-suite bathroom with shower, open-plan living and dining area complete with kitchen, a second bathroom with shower, and a terrace. The first Prestige Apartment has a double bedroom with en-suite bathroom with shower, living room, kitchen with table, guest bathroom and a small terrace. The second Prestige Apartment boasts a double bedroom with free-standing tub, en-suite bathroom with shower, living room with sofa, kitchen, and guest bathroom.

Second Floor:

The second floor boasts: two Studio Apartments, one Comfort Apartment, one Superior Apartment, one Prestige Apartment. The two Studio Apartments both feature a double bedroom, a bathroom with shower, and a small kitchen. The Comfort Apartment on this floor features a double bedroom, en-suite bathroom with shower, open-plan living area with kitchen, guest bathroom, and terrace.

The Superior Apartment on this floor boasts a fully-equipped kitchen, an open-plan living and dining area, a double bedroom complete with en-suite bathroom with shower, and a second bathroom with shower. The Prestige Apartment on this floor boasts a double bedroom with free-standing tub, en-suite bathroom with shower, open-plan living and dining area, kitchen, and a guest bathroom.

Third Floor:

On the third floor, the only apartment you will find is a Prestige Apartment. This apartment can sleep four guests featuring two bedrooms connected by a living room complete with a comfortable sofa and a round table. The apartment features a twin room with en-suite bathroom with shower and, on the other side, a double bedroom complete with en-suite bathroom with shower. The apartment also features a kitchen. This apartment can sleep up to four guests.
