In just twenty minutes by car, you can easily reach Ostuni, also known as “the white city”. The Cathedral and the Bishop’s Palace are especially striking, but there are many other architectural gems to be found, including the old homes of the nobles: you would not be mistaken for thinking that you are actually wandering around a lovely Greek village.

The old town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, consists of a maze of lovely streets and steps lined by trulli. Alberobello is considered a unique and enchanting place, and despite the fact that you may find it a bit touristy, it is definitely worth a visit.
