Property 10560 Location and Surrounding Area Located in one of the most appreciated areas in Apulia, just a few kilometers from the Adriatic coast, this nine-bedroom masseria is ideally situated to offer complete privacy to its guests, providing an opulent retreat for those who want to explore the Valle d’Itria and its countryside, dotted with characteristic trulli, dry-stone walls, vineyards and olive groves stretching as far as the eye can see. Famous for its whitewashed towns and beautiful beaches, the Valle d’Itria features all the ingredients for the perfect vacation. The villa is just a stone’s throw from Ostuni, which shines out against the surrounding verdant landscape. Its hilltop center takes in a panorama that ranges over a hinterland rich in art and tradition to the turquoise shades of the distant sea. The villa is less than an hour from Martina Franca, the largest town in the Valle d’Itria. Being in the heart of the valley, Martina Franca is a great base from which to explore the area, but spend some time exploring its old center which boasts beautiful Baroque architecture and quaint streets. Offering a calm atmosphere, the villa boasts a dining area on the patio for romantic al fresco dinners under the stars. For the more adventurous chefs, there is a barbecue and pizza oven alongside the recreation area. The outdoor space is the ultimate retreat to sunbathe or just sip a cocktail while enjoying the breeze. Property 10560 joins three characteristic trulli together, placing the shared living areas around these once separate stone buildings. There are three beautiful living rooms, one is particularly spacious and embellished with several pieces of contemporary art from the owner's collection. The living areas are bright and designed for kicking back with a glass of quality local red wine. There are two fully-equipped kitchens for rustling up delicious delicacies and a total of eight delightful bedrooms. Trulli are traditional structures made of carved stone, with pointed-dome roofs and meter-thick walls to protect against the heat and sun. Their open, round floor plan allows for a truly unique experience. Inside these walls, once covered with straw, one feels as if in another time, sheltered and protected. In the Lamia Building you will find three double bedrooms and one bedroom with two bunk beds. Each room has en-suite bathroom with shower and is individually designed. The Trulli Building houses two double bedrooms, each with en-suite bathroom with shower. In this building you will also find one of the kitchens. The Saraceno Building houses one double bedroom and a living room with double bed sharing a bathroom with shower. In this building you will find one of the two kitchens. In the Holiday Cabin, which is located in front of the pool, you will find an additional double bedroom with en-suite bathroom with shower.
