Villa Gli Property 377 is a unique and modern sea front property beautifully located by the sea in the archaeological area of Ansedonia, Tuscany.
Ansedonia is a quiet and glamorous vacationing area, located on a small rocky promontory by the sea just south of Monte Argentario (Southern Tuscany).
You still can visit on the top of the hill the ruins of the ancient Roman city of Cosa (3rd century B.C.), with an interesting archaeological museum. At only 300mt to the VIlla Property 377 there is La Feniglia: a stunning long sandy beach dune. This is the most famous in the area, not only because of its fine sand but also as it is highly suitable for all the family: the beach shelves gently, making the sea warm and ideal for small children. Another major feature of La Feniglia are the Mediterranean pine trees that run down the centre of the dune providing welcome shade during the heat of the day.
The area is ideal for boating with the modern marina of Cala Galera and the cosy harbour of Porto Ercole (13 km off Ansedonia), the marvellous coastline of Monte Argentario and the nearby islands of Giglio and Giannutri (both within 16-19 nautical km from Cala Galera).
The inland area, typical Tuscan Maremma, is renowned for its cuisine and for charming villages like the medieval 11th century towns of Capalbio (16 km from Ansedonia) and Manciano (25 km)or the healthy Saturnia with its luxurious thermal baths. Ansedonia can be reached by car in about 1.5 hours from Rome (145 km) and 1 hour from Rome's International Airport Leonardo Da Vinci (110 km).

The property
Villa Gli Property 377 sits on a 3000 square metres of ground descending towards a 10-meter high cliff overlooking the sea. The whole area is covered by typical Mediterranean flora with oleanders, geraniums, pines, oaks and agaves. Walking down from the parking a short staircase will bring you to 3 wonderful terraces where you can enjoy a great view of the sea and the Argentario. Three large circle terraces are equipped in summer by chairs and a table for al fresco dinner. A short staircase bring down to a large solarium with the infinity pool and the direct access to the sea by further 40 steps. On the shores a comfortable platform allow to swim and to have sunbaths.
The villa is a large house (350 sq. m.) sets on the cliff with a wonderful panoramic view from Feniglia beach to Argentario Mount and the Latium Coast.
The late 1960s villa is based on 2 levels. Contemporary paintings, ethnical and modern furnishings, white pavements, large and well liting french windows, comfortable sofas make warm the atmosphere. The house consists of a ground floor with: a large living room with a magnificent sea view, a dining room that can comfortably accommodate 12 guests, a large kitchen with an outside terrace and a service bedroom; a double bedroom with en suite bathroom (with shower). 20 steps lead to the second floor (worthy of note the wonderful view of the see, just like a paint, from a large window in the corridor). Here we have: a master bedroom with see view and en-suite bathroom (with shower); a twin bedrooms and a double bedrooms, sharing a bathroom with shower (the two bedrooms have an indipendent access on a shade and cool area of the garden in the back of the villa); a double bedroom with en suite bath (with shower) and a small panoramic terrace. All the bedrooms and the living room are airconditioned.
In the back of the garden there is a small dependance with independent access. It is reserved to the owner, sometimes in summertime he is there for a weekend.

The villa is totally private and secluded, enjoying wonderful sea views and on-shore breezes, even in the height of the summer. It is the ideal choice for a family and/or a group of friends where life on Argentario can be experienced to the full - a typical day would consist of a leisurely breakfast, sunbathing and reading by the pool, taking a boat out from around noon for the rest of the day, a drink in a bar in the before returning to the house for a candle lit dinner in the evening.
