This estate is found just outside of the hamlet of Marina di Bibbona. Immersed in the scenery of stunning Tuscany, Villa Giada sits within the fenced community of the aristocratic La Pineta property where dreams are made of. Villa Giada is in close proximity to the town so shops, restaurants and services can be reached in just a short walk. The 18th century Marina di Bibbona was built around a pirate-defending fortress. Today is a popular beach destination full of private and public beaches and sand dunes dotted with Mediterranean scrub and pinewoods for shade. Originally an Etruscan settlement, Bibbona is a medieval town surrounded by lush Tuscan countryside and is about a ten minute drive from the villa. There you can visit the stone-paved historical centre with piazzas, winding streets, the churches of San Illario, Santa Maria della Pietà and the Church of San Giuseppe.

Livorno is about a 45 minute drive north from the villa on the Ligurian Sea and is one of the most important ports cities in Italy. It is a modern city, expanded by the Medici family with prehistoric roots where you can find several archaeological. One of the highlights of the bustling, multi-ethnic city is the charming La Venezia area which is found in the historical centre. The visitor might event get the chance to experience the Effetto Venezia festival in the summer with diverse food and entertainment events for all ages.

Another wonderful place to visit is Lucca, a little over an hour’s drive from the villa. It is a town founded by the Etruscans and famous for its towers and ancient ruins where the traveller can see the Piazza dell’Anfiteatro, the cathedral of San Marino and the clock tower to enjoy the romantic air of this quaint city. With an extraordinary pedestrian promenade along the city’s walls, Lucca is unique from all of the other places in the area. Another unforgettable gem to visit is Pisa which can be reached in less than an hour from the villa. With the leaning tower, Duomo and baptistery some of the most-visited tourist sites in Italy, it is impossible to be in the area without visiting Galileo’s old stomping grounds. Admire the white marble glistening in the twilight sun as you sip an aperitivo with friends at the Campo dei Miracoli or Piazza dei Cavalieri.

The property is an hour and a half from the cultural capital of Florence. This incredible city, with its art, architecture and unforgettable piazzas is the capital of the Renaissance and one of the most sought-after destinations in Europe. Brunelleschi’s masterpiece red dome rests on the captivating cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore gleaming with pinks and greens. The Uffizi museum featuring Botticelli, Michelangelo, Titian and da Vinci is situated near the unforgettable Ponte Vecchio. Not to be overlooked in the medieval gem of Siena which is less than two hours from the villa. It is famous for its architecture, the Campo central piazza and the Palio horse race, which is held twice every summer.

For a change of scenery, try touring the area of Chianti to visit characteristic places like Greve in Chianti, one of Italy’s most exceptional areas for nature, food, culture and wine. Or try Panizzi Winery near San Gimignano which is about an hour from the villa. There you can visit the alluring city of medieval towers and sip famous Vernaccia accompanied by a delectable plate of Tagliatelle with sausage or a dish of rabbit in wine sauce.

Property. The guest arrives at Villa Giada through an oleander and tree-lined path, set within the exclusive community of La Pineta. While it shares an entrance with Villa Terra, this villa is separated from the other properties by a private garden leading through a pathway with elm trees and oleanders. La Pineta estate is owned by a Florentine aristocratic family which houses several properties within the fenced area.

This area of coastal Tuscany with the backdrop of pinewood set against the azure waters of the Mediterranean has a calming effect on both body and soul. The villa is surrounded by splendid beaches, enchanting sandy coves which are perfect for sunbathing and snorkelling. On each side of the living space are the bedrooms decorated with carefully selected floral. There are two double rooms and two twin rooms in the villa, each with en-suite bathrooms. The villa effortlessly houses eight people with ample outside lounging spaces furnished with arm chairs, tables and sun beds.

All of the large, French windows of the rooms in the villa open to the carefully manicured lawn surrounded by Mediterranean oleanders, plumbago, roses and bougainvillea.
