Location and Surrounding Area. Property 10699 is beautifully set in a stunning area of Chianti in Tuscany, only 35 km southwest of Florence. The nearest village, Gambassi Terme takes its name from the ancient thermal baths and guests can revel in the rejuvenating waters. The area is steeped in history, it has been inhabited since Neolithic times and offers plenty of historical and archeological remains.

Siena is medieval gem, famous for its architecture, the Campo central piazza and the Palio horse race, which is held twice every summer. The Palio and the Campo piazza both featured in the James Bond Quantum of Solace film and as you sip a cappuccino in the piazza, it's hard not to slip into film-star mode as you watch the world go by.

Florence is the capital city of Tuscany and an art-lovers paradise. It was the centre of the Italian Renaissance movement and the museums, galleries, palaces and churches hold some of the world's greatest artistic treasures. The Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore in Piazza del Duomo is the largest building in Medieval Europe and Brunelleschi's Dome is not only a masterpiece of engineering but also the largest brick dome in the world. The octagonal St. John's Baptistery is one of the oldest buildings in Florence and is a marvellous example of the rich, Florentine, Romanesque style. Once you tire of art and history, take a wander through the delightful streets and across the Ponte Vecchio bridge which spans the River Arno. Florence is also home to designer shopping and fine wine and dining experiences. Thick, juicy Florentine steaks are a local speciality and best accompanied by a delicious, local Chianti wine.

For gold aficionados, the international Royal Golf La Bagnaia features an 18-hole course designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr., which harmoniously blends with the local landscape. You can even gaze out over Siena as you ponder your next stroke.

Property 10699 is about an hour's drive from both Pisa and Florence international airports. It is 35 km from Florence and about an hour's drive through picturesque countryside to Siena and the Royal Golf La Bagnaia golf course. There is a wonderful restaurant nearby which serves traditional Tuscan dishes with produce from the farm's organic vegetable garden.

The Property. Property 10699 sleeps up to six guests in three, lovely, double bedrooms with traditional, Tuscan, wood-beamed ceilings. The rooms are light and airy with fabulous views out across the surrounding hills and each bedroom has its own spacious bathroom. Two of the bedrooms are situated on the first floor and the other is on the ground floor.

The sitting room is beautifully decorated and offers direct access out to the gardens and swimming pool. The kitchen is fully equipped with all of the necessary utensils to create delicious meals part of your holiday. Eating in Tuscany is best done al fresco as the locals do. Property 10699 has an idyllic outdoor eating area and you fancy working up a healthy appetite, a couple of lengths in the swimming pool should do the trick! There is even a barbecue area for cooking the fresh, local produce.
