In less than one hour by car, you can reach Florence, a treasure trove of art with an astonishing contemporary vibe. Beyond the extraordinary artistic heritage, a testimony to its centuries of civilization, the best way to enjoy Florence is to stroll along the riverside avenues at sunset, or to get lost among the city’s myriad alleyways of the bohemian Oltrarno or the narrow little streets of San Niccolò, where it feels like you have ended up in another time along its centuries-old walls.

In one hour by car, you can reach the walled town of San Gimignano, one of Italy’s best-preserved medieval villages. As you crest the nearby hills, the fourteen towers of the town rise like medieval Manhattan. Today, not even the plague would deter the swarms of summer day trippers, lured by a palpable sense of history and the enchanting rural setting. The historic centre was designated a UNESCO World Heritage site, and strolling through the streets will make you feel like you have stepped back in time.

The villa is also a few kilometres from the medieval town of Siena. Its ancient red brick buildings, the scallop-shaped main square, Piazza del Campo, and the Cathedral Square, dominated by the zebra-striped Duomo, make it an absolute must for anyone traveling to Tuscany. Effectively an open-air museum celebrating the Gothic, Siena boasts secular monuments that have retained both their medieval forms and their exceptional art collections, providing plenty to marvel at.

The villa is a few kilometres from Volterra, one of Tuscany’s most dramatic hilltop towns. Despite its many attractions, Volterra sees fewer tourists than other Tuscan towns, so you can expect to share its winding stone streets with locals and explore its ancient sites without crowds. Founded by the Etruscans and surrounded by medieval walls, Volterra has a notable historic centre filled with fascinating Roman ruins, medieval buildings, and alabaster workshops.

Surrounded by rolling hills and wide meadows, Villa Le Bacche is a classic farmhouse immersed in a generous private garden with charming views of the surrounding countryside. This carefully-renovated villa is ideal for families and groups of friends who want to enjoy the tranquillity of the countryside in complete privacy. Offering a calm atmosphere, Villa Le Bacche can sleep fourteen guests in seven double bedrooms with an en-suite bathroom (six additional guests can sleep in the Cottage, available on request).

Surrounded by a lush garden, this magnificent property boasts an exceptional swimming pool and a generous paved poolside area furnished with comfortable sun loungers inviting guests to sit back and unwind. Offering a calm atmosphere, the poolside area represents an idyllic spot for basking in the sun and enjoying wonderful moments of relaxation in the company of a good book. The outdoor area also boasts large parasols, providing plenty of shade on hot summer days.

Decorated with a palette of soft and natural tones, the carefully-designed and maintained indoor spaces are very spacious and bright. The ground floor boasts a generous fully-equipped kitchen, a spacious dining area, a comfortable living room with large windows and doors opening onto the panoramic terrace, and a guest bathroom. You will enter the villa by going through a traditional Tuscan loggia. All the rooms on the ground floor open onto the lush garden.

The villa can sleep fourteen guests in seven double bedrooms spread over two floors: the first and second floors. On the first floor, you will find six double bedrooms, all with an en-suite bathroom, and a common living room with a splendid view of the estate. Four bathrooms have showers, one bathroom has a bathtub, and one bathroom has both a bathtub and a shower. On this floor, you will also find a laundry room. On the second floor, you will find a double bedroom with an en-suite bathroom with a shower.

The main villa can sleep fourteen guests in seven double bedrooms with en-suite bathroom spread over two floors. On request, six additional guests can sleep in the three double bedrooms with en-suite bathroom located in the Cottage, so the whole property can sleep up to twenty guests. On the ground floor of the Cottage, you will find a living room and a double bedroom with an en-suite bathroom with shower. On the upper floor of the Cottage, you will find two double bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms with shower.
