It is only a couple of kilometres from the fabulous White City of Ostuni and some of the prettiest beaches in Puglia. It is an ideal location for discovering the wonders of Puglia: Ostuni is only 5 km away and the characteristic villages of Cisternino, Locorotondo, Alberobello and Martina Franca in the gorgeous Valle d'Itria are also close by. Then there are the famous caves in Castellana, the Baroque city of Lecce and other pearls in the Salento area like Otranto, Gallipoli and the splendid Matera with its stunning Sassi (rock caves).

Property 10686 is only 10 km from the sea and the coastline varies from the white sand beaches of the Parco delle Dune Costiere and the enchanting coves of Torre Pozzella through to the Torre Guaceto nature reserve, which is as much a paradise for beach lovers as for walkers. This area of Puglia has a mild climate and can easily be explored all year round. There is so much to see, do, taste and admire; the old villages, the beaches, the countryside rich in attractions, the exceptional local cuisine and delicious gastronomic traditions.

The Property. Property 10686 sleeps up to 12 guests in six gorgeous bedrooms. There are 5 doubles, each with an en suite bathroom and 1 exquisite twin bedrooms, again with its own en suite bathroom. Four of the double bedrooms and one twin bedroom are on the first floor and all have magnificent views across the gardens and surrounding countryside. The sixth double bedroom is in a pretty annex just across the courtyard.

The ground floor offers a whole array of beautifully decorated sitting rooms, reception rooms, relaxing areas, a magnificent kitchen, a reading room and a TV room. The reading room can also be used as a dining room when the weather doesn't permit al fresco dining. Each room is elegantly furnished with period pieces and feature the high, vaulted ceilings so typical of Puglia. The walls of the Masseria are solid stone and so thick that the summer heat cannot penetrate and the house remains refreshingly cool in the hot summer months.

The main courtyard contains a Moroccan lemon grove and is furnished for relaxing in the Southern Italian sunshine. The original stable block has been transformed into an unforgettable dining area with a long table, which can even be candle-lit to create a really romantic atmosphere. There is also another outdoor dining area in the second courtyard.

The immense swimming pool is child-friendly and has a jacuzzi area which can easily accommodate 12 guests at a time. Imagine relaxing back in the pool on a starlit summer night, this is what dreams are made of.

Property 10686 is equipped with a gym, Hammam bath for ten people and a massage table for letting a qualified masseuse knead away your troubles. There is also a private chapel in the grounds with some beautiful paintings by local artists.
