Property 10732 is the only property off of the private road and is set on a slight hill which overlooks the olive trees and the luscious surrounding landscape. The enchanting pool is just a moment’s walk through the rolling lawn and meticulously cultivated natural setting. The hillside town of Pelago, featuring a bar and pastry shop, cultural center, post office and city hall is a 20 minute walk from the villa.

The villa is about 20 km from the cultural capital of Florence, with its art, architecture and unforgettable piazzas. The capital of the Renaissance, Florence is one of the most sought-after destinations in Europe. Brunelleschi’s masterpiece red dome rests on the captivating cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore gleaming with pinks and greens. The Uffizi museum featuring Botticelli, Michelangelo, Titian and da Vinci is situated near the unforgettable Ponte Vecchio. There you can carry on the tradition of centuries and shop over the River Arno in the artisan jewellery and art shops. There are so many things to experience in this magical place but who could pass up the opportunity to see the mastery of Michelangelo’s Davide up close?

Frescobaldi Winery in Nipozzano is a 10 minute drive from the villa. There you can visit the alluring Nipozzano castle, sip famous Frescobaldi Chianti accompanied by a delectable plate of Tagliolini or a nibble of the local Pecorino cheese. The family has been producing wine in this immense estate since the 1300s: it is an experience a not to be missed.

For a change of scenery, you could climb Monte Falco or take a leisurely hike on the numerous paths in the National Park of the Castenesi Forests. The lush green of the Apennines is also home to many kinds of animals, flowers and plants and will promise a peaceful day trip with breath-taking views. Another day trip is to the stunning city of Siena. There you can visit Piazza del Campo, grab a gelato at the famous Vecchia Latteria Gelateria, see the Bottini underground aqueducts or if you are lucky, catch the famous Palio horse race.

The Property. Property 10732 is an immense estate filled with impeccably decorated rooms with antiques from around the world.  The owner has adorned the spaces with carefully selected art which is meticulously placed within the sprawling farmhouse dating back from the 15^th century. This hilltop villa can easily house fourteen people in its six double bedrooms in the villa and the pool house. Each room is complete with a bathroom and though the thick, stone walls and hilltop location of Property 10732 keep the home naturally cool in the summer, the bedrooms which are more exposed to the sun have air conditioning units. This property has two fully equipped kitchens and an outside kitchen, the kitchen in the main house having been remodelled to accommodate those passionate chefs who might like to try their hands in perfecting Tuscan cuisine. The property even features an outside barbeque and pizza oven!

The villa also has a beautiful fireplace for cozy evenings as well as numerous, lovely spaces tucked around each corner of this spacious, light-drenched property.

The exquisitely kept garden terrace leads to the large pool looking onto the rolling hills of the heart of Tuscany. This pool area is designed for lounging, sunbathing and wonderful conversations in the breeze coming off of the olive trees lining the property to inspire  wonderful moments of relaxation. The pool terrace is made complete with the pool house, a quaint remodelled barn with a bedroom, bathroom, kitchen and living room. Not to be overlooked are the trampoline and Petanque court which are perfect for any age of guest who is ready for fun! The gardener who was born on the property is dedicated not only to maintaining the beauty of the outside paradise, but greeting each guest with kindness and hospitality.
