Location and Surrounding Area

Property 10216 is situated in Cilento a southern area in Campania neighbouring with Amalfi Coast. The property is just fewest km to Santa Maria Castellabate, an enchanting little town in the reserve of Punta Licosa. Punta Licosa is definitely one of the most historic places of the area, situated south of San Marco, a little fishermen village of Cilento. It hosts the Roman ancient ruins of a fort, a castle with sea view, a family chapel and the exclusively private villa.

The villa was only recently renovated and it’s the perfect choice if you’re looking forward to relax with your family and friends, surrounded by a layout that allows you the greatest privacy.

Approaching the villa by car, you’ll find the guarded gatehouse at the village of Ogliastro. The location is really enchanting: on the left the sunshine brushes the sea and the trees creating a beautiful effect and on the right, the whole estate is covered with vineyards and olive groves.

The villa can host up to 14 guests. 4 double/twin bedrooms with air conditioning on the ground floor. All of the bedrooms have en suite bathrooms with large showers. 3 double/twin bedrooms with ceiling fans are located on the first floor, that you can reach by an outside staircase.

All these bedrooms share a bathroom and a separate shower room.

On the ground floor there is a drawing room with a big library, board games and DVD’s. Wi-Fi through the ground floor. On the first floor there is another drawing room with sky TV and I-pod docking station. The kitchen is large and well equipped with a dining area for up to 8 guests.

Outdoor dining area for 14 guests. The villa is surrounded by a large terrace with sitting areas. Between the sea and the villa you can find another outdoor lounge, ideal for breakfast and cocktails in the outside atmosphere. Fresh water swimming pool sheltered by the roman ruins 100 metres away. The pool is also equipped with a changing room, a kitchen and a bathroom.

The villa has direct access to the beach – the beach is not sandy and so, it’s not suitable for old people or very little children. (note that there is a sandy beach at 10 minutes drive from the villa in an area with restaurants and bars). Private sunbathing deck by the sea. Easy path to the sea thanks to large sandbags.

Bocce pitch and ping pong table. There’s also the chance to rent a tennis court in the nearby village of San Marco – water skiing can be booked. Bicycles available and hiking routes (the estate is part of the Cilento National Park) are possible, offering stunning views in all directions from the villa - through the forest, towards the private island and lighthouse, along the seashore, or into the low hills to San Marco.

Daily maid 4 hours each morning (extras hours can be arranged separately).

A cook is also available at an extra cost. Menus can be discussed prior to arrival and all ingredients will be charged at cost prior to departure. Guests are also able to have vegetable and fruit from the organic garden on the property. Olive oil from the property is also provided free of charge. A masseur, yoga instructor and babysitter can be arranged on request. Boats can also  be rented and moored in the little harbour directly next to the villa.
